Towing performance on levelled roads
You may expect more than adequate performances from this outfit. On flat roads you can come along provided you've selected the right gear, in which case top gear is applicable under favourable circumstances.
Possible top speeds
Possible top speed in windless conditions and head wind force 3 Top speed in 3rd gear is 110 km/h and in head wind it will be 105 km/h.Top speed in 4th gear is 118 km/h and in head wind it will be 106 km/h.Top speed in 5th gear is 108 km/h and in head wind it will be 93 km/h.
Top speed or speed at 3200 rpm (= 80% of max. power revolution) Speed in 1st gear is 29 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 29 km/h.Speed in 2nd gear is 53 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 53 km/h.Speed in 3rd gear is 81 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 81 km/h.Speed in 4th gear is 113 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 106 km/h.Speed in 5th gear is 108 km/h and in head wind (force 3) it will be 93 km/h.
Acceleration and take over
Acceleration 0 - 80 km/h with caravan in 16.8 sec. (solo: 9.1 sec.) 0 - 100 km/h with caravan in 29.3 sec. (solo: 13.2 sec.) 0 - 120 km/h with caravan in 94.6 sec. (solo: 19.8 sec.)
Acceleration 70 - 90 km/h flexibility As fast as possible (through the gears) 8.6 sec. In 3rd gear 8.6 sec. Tractive power (pick-up) is fairly good.
In 4th gear 13.1 sec. Tractive power (pick-up) is satisfactory.
In 5th gear 30.1 sec. Tractive power (pick-up) is bad.

On motorway inclines you will be able to come along quite nicely. On steep roads you have more than sufficient power to keep going. On hill starts there's most prabably sufficient power to get going, provided the wheels have traction.
Driving on motorway slopes
Top speed on a gradient of 5% In the 1st gear: 39 km/h at 4329 rpm and 29 km/h at 3200 rpmIn the 2nd gear: 72 km/h at 4364 rpm and 53 km/h at 3200 rpmIn the 3th gear: 89 km/h at 3525 rpm and 81 km/h at 3200 rpmThe 4th gear isn't applicable at a gradient of 5%. The 5th gear isn't applicable at a gradient of 5%.
