On motorway inclines you will be able not only to come along, but be the first at the top. On steep roads you have more than sufficient power to keep going. On hill starts there will be more than enough power to get going, provided the wheels have traction.
Driving on motorway slopes
Top speed on a gradient of 5% In the 1st gear: 33 km/h at 4108 rpm and 25 km/h at 3120 rpmIn the 2nd gear: 63 km/h at 4240 rpm and 46 km/h at 3120 rpmIn the 3th gear: 96 km/h at 4114 rpm and 73 km/h at 3120 rpmIn the 4th gear: 107 km/h at 3313 rpm and 101 km/h at 3120 rpmThe 5th gear isn't applicable at a gradient of 5%.

22%Verso tows this van perfectly. Low noseweight of 55kgs on the car, but if you make sure you get the noseweight correct it is a perfect tow. Plenty of power from from the 2.2td, only drawback is as with any front wheel drive a lack of traction towing off a wet field. Other wise a great towing outfit.
